چکیده

In this work, we study theoretically and experimentally optical modes of photonic molecules—clusters optically coupled spherical resonators. Unlike previous studies, do not use stems to hold spheres in their positions relying, instead, on tweezers maintain desired structures. The the resonators are excited using a tapered fiber observed as resonances with quality factor high 10 7 . Using fluorescent mapping technique, observe families similar spatial spectral shapes repeating every free range (a separation between adjacent individual spheres). Experimental results compared numerical simulations based multi-sphere Mie theory. This work opens door for developing large arrays high-Q
